Job description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Sales Engineer with a strong background in the petrochemical industry and EPC project execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for client engagement, proposal development, and executing sales strategies aimed at expanding and diversifying the client base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the company’s technology portfolio and project execution models (EP, EPC, EPCM)
  • Drive market visibility through conference attendance and publication of technical content
  • Conduct continuous market and opportunity research; monitor bid platforms
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal global stakeholders
  • Manage sales process compliance, qualifying leads through internal review and approval processes
  • Capture and manage opportunities using CRM systems
  • Lead proposals from initial qualification ("Bid No Bid") to contract signing and handover
  • Review tender documents and facilitate bid decision meetings
  • Compile bid documentation and ensure submission compliance
  • Assign and manage bid teams, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate bid team kick-off meetings and develop winning strategies
  • Liaise with global and external partners for bid support and define work splits
  • Lead client clarification meetings during bidding processes
  • Consolidate and coordinate technical and commercial proposal inputs across disciplines
  • Obtain and validate market quotations for equipment and construction
  • Ensure proposal documentation aligns with tender requirements, including references, resumes, and method statements
  • Finalise and submit compliant, competitive, and compelling proposals
Education and Experience:
  • BSc / B.Eng / B.Tech in Engineering or a Commercial qualification
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in a similar role
