Job Title: Insurance Sales Representative

Main Purpose: To sell policies, recruit, develop, and train representatives to achieve the set targets. The role offers potential development into a Sales Manager position when vacancies are available, designated as a Key Individual.

Program Duration: 1 year

Training Courses:

• Full-Time Academic School: 0 – 1 month
• Commissions and Finance
• Compliance
• Reports
• Practical School: 2 – 12 months
• COB Long Term and Investments
• Supervision (FSP 4.1)
• Recruitment Process Orientation (On-boarding)
• MS Office Training (spread over 12 months, if necessary)
• Digital Training
• Disciplinary Action Procedures

Job Requirements:

Formal Education:

• Matric Certificate
• Relevant Full Qualification as per FSCA Board Notice

Technical / Legal Certification:

• Registered as an Employee Representative with FSCA
• Regulatory Examination Level 1: Representatives (RE5)
• Regulatory Examination Level 1: Key Individuals (RE1)
• Class of Business: Long Term Insurance & Investment (Advantage)
• Updated Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in the Insurance Industry
• Experience with Category A, B1, B2, C, and Retail Benefits
• Fit and Proper Representative for all Tier 1 products
• Fit and Proper Representative for all Tier 2 products
