A leading recruitment firm seeks a Sales Representative to boost sales of wine and deli products in Johannesburg. The candidate will be responsible for customer engagement, managing relationships, and organizing events. Candidates should have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for wine. A diploma in marketing or related fields is preferred.
National Senior Certificate (matric / Grade 12)
Diploma or degree in marketing, sales, hospitality, tourism, brand management, or oenology (preferred)
35 years sales or customer-facing experience, preferably in wine, tourism, or premium brands
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Excellent Afrikaans and English communication
Proficient in MS Office, sales systems, and CRM software
Valid drivers licence and own transport
Professional appearance and etiquette
High integrity and confidentiality
Customer-focused with strong negotiation skills
Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented
Passion for wine, farm life, and sustainable lifestyle products
Adaptable in a dynamic environment
Available for national travel
Priority given to suitably qualified applicants from designated groups.
Responsibilities :
Drive direct and indirect sales of wine and deli products
Welcome and serve customers professionally and knowledgeably
Arrange wine tastings, private tours, and special experiences
Build and maintain long-term customer, corporate, and distributor relationships
Represent the brand at events, festivals, and trade shows
Collect market intelligence and provide feedback
Coordinate with internal teams to deliver integrated customer experiences
Manage sales administration, reports, and customer databases
Grow the Johannesburg market through sales, events, and marketing initiatives
