Role Overview
Senior Sage X3 Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain Sage X3 ERP solutions that support both internal business operations and client requirements.
What you will be doing
- Design, develop, and customize Sage X3 solutions to meet business and client requirements, including enhancements, workflows, and module development.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Sage X3 and third‑party applications, external systems, and business tools.
- Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data analytics solutions using Sage X3 tools and reporting technologies.
- Collaborate with consultants, business users, and clients to gather technical requirements and translate them into development solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and technical support to ensure optimal system performance and stability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers where required.
- Follow development and release management processes to ensure quality and consistency across deployments.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing for developed solutions.
- Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, development notes, and user guides.
- Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to consultants, support teams, and end users.
- Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure development tasks and project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sage X3 development and customization.
- Strong experience with Sage X3 module development, workflows, and system integrations.
- Proficiency in SQL, X3 Scripting, 4GL, GraphQL, C#, Java, PHP, HTML, and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience integrating Sage X3 with third‑party tools and applications.
- Strong understanding of ERP system architecture and database management concepts.
- Sage X3 certification (advantageous).
- Exposure to reporting and business intelligence tools is advantageous.
