We are hiring on behalf of a reputable construction contracting company in Dubai, renowned for prioritising safety across its large-scale civil construction projects.

They are urgently seeking a qualified Senior Safety Officer to join their HSE team.

About the Role

An excellent opportunity for a dedicated Senior Safety Officer to lead safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance across active construction sites. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of UAE HSE regulations and be certified in industry-recognized safety programmes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement and monitor health and safety procedures on construction sites
2. Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits
3. Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions
4. Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
5. Ensure compliance with local regulations and client HSE requirements
6. Maintain safety documentation and records in accordance with standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the UAE construction contracting sector
• NEBOSH and IOSH certifications (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations and site protocols
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage emergency situations and enforce safety standards effectively
