Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on robotics.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Experience with ROS and AI/ML frameworks in robotics.
• Experience with OpenCV and computer vision libraries.
• Familiarity with simulation environments like Gazebo or V-REP.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, suitable for a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust software for robotic systems, focusing on AI/ML integration.
• Develop and integrate algorithms for robot perception, localization, mapping, and path planning.
• Implement and fine‑tune machine learning models for tasks such as object detection, scene understanding, and decision‑making.
• Work with robotic operating systems (e.g., ROS) and associated libraries.
• Develop APIs and interfaces for integrating various hardware components and software modules.
• Conduct thorough software testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate effectively with hardware engineers, AI researchers, and other software developers in a hybrid environment.
• Stay current with advancements in robotics, AI, machine learning, and related software technologies.
• Mentor junior software engineers and contribute to code reviews and architectural design discussions.
