Job summary

Together Staffing group is recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor in South Africa. The General Foreman will manage day-to-day site operations on major road projects valued at hundreds of millions, ensuring productivity and strict regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will have 10–15 years as a Foreman on large road contracts, an NDip or higher in Civil Engineering, and experience with Gautrans, the Provincial Department of Public Works and

Qualifications

• 10–15 years’ proven experience as a General Foreman on large road construction contracts valued at R350 Million or more.
• NDip or higher qualification in Civil Engineering or suitable alternative NQF level qualification.
• Experience working with provincial and national authorities such as Gautrans, Provincial Department of Public Works and SANRAL.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and supervise field teams.
• Drive productivity and monitor progress against project plans.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards.
