Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in RF planning and optimization for mobile networks.
• In-depth knowledge of RF principles, propagation models, and antenna theory.
• Strong experience with 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE), and 5G NR technologies and their KPIs.
• Proficiency with RF optimization tools such as TEMS, WindCatcher, Actix, etc.
• Experience with network planning and simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Strong understanding of mobile network architecture and core network elements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RF drive test data, performance statistics, and KPIs to identify network optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement detailed optimization plans for GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G networks to improve coverage, capacity, and call quality.
• Configure and tune RF parameters on base stations and network elements to achieve optimal performance targets.
• Perform capacity planning and traffic management analysis to ensure network scalability.
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported RF issues and complaints promptly.
• Collaborate with network planning, engineering, and operations teams to implement recommended changes.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and report on optimization efforts and their impact.
• Stay current with RF engineering principles, wireless technologies, and optimization tools.
• Mentor and guide junior RF engineers, sharing expertise and best practices.
• Evaluate new RF technologies and features for potential deployment.
