Purpose of role :

The successful candidate will compile reports, research, design, and develop antennas, and be a part of the development of tools for obtaining, processing, and simulation results. This person will act as the liaison between the Lead RF Engineer and the rest of the research and development team.

Research and Development

• Conduct antenna and technology research, design, and development.
• Stay updated with antenna (and RF) engineering best practices and latest techniques.
• Improve current tools for processing, simulation, and measurement results.
• Assist in creating technical specification documents by providing measurement results and product information.
• Compare current antenna offerings against competitors and suggest improvements.
• Lead complex antenna design; define specifications and design strategies.

Product Management

• Define the long-term vision and strategy for the company's products and manage their lifecycle based on best practices.
• Create and analyze product business cases (financial and strategic).
• Research and analyze current and emerging technologies impacting product strategy.
• Research competitor products and perform market, technical, and pricing comparisons.
• Develop product plans and roadmaps, including MSRP across regions.
• Design test plans and interpret complex measurement data.

Prototype Management

• Manage prototype construction processes.
• Measure and record simulation results.
• Process measurement and simulation data for rapid decision-making.
• Advise on modifications to improve antenna performance parameters.
• Debug prototype issues and document necessary changes for production.
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions.

Administration and Reporting

• Complete correspondence and administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
• Manage emails, inbox, and data effectively.
• Maintain a professional communication image.
• Meet all reporting and feedback requirements accurately and on time.
• Follow departmental processes and SOPs.
