Job summary

Ogilvy South Africa seeks an Account Director to lead promotional retail campaigns for the Dis-Chem account and manage a team of Account Managers and Executives. You will ensure on-time delivery, strict client compliance, and maintain data and folder accuracy across projects.

You will mentor the team, drive process improvements, and oversee billing while building strong client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage promotional retail campaigns for the Dis-Chem account and oversee a team of Account Managers and Account Executives.
• Ensure all AE/AM work is checked by the AD before sending to client or signing off.
• Run 360-degree promotional campaigns independently, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate across teams to deliver campaign components effectively.
• Mentor and develop account managers and executives to produce accurate work.
• Maintain 100% accuracy of the shared drive with promotional information.
• Ensure compliance with Dis-Chem account requirements and foster client relationships.
• Oversee billing processes and resolve discrepancies with the team.
• Understand and execute data merge processes, organizing and validating data.
