Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced reservoir simulation models to predict reservoir performance under various production scenarios.
• Analyze production data, perform decline curve analysis, and conduct material balance calculations to assess reservoir characteristics and production potential.
• Plan and execute reservoir studies, including uncertainty analysis and risk assessment for exploration and development projects.
• Recommend optimal development strategies, including well placement, injection schemes, and production optimization techniques.
• Collaborate closely with geologists, drilling engineers, and production engineers to ensure integrated project execution.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in reservoir engineering and implement them where applicable.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical development of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering, with a strong focus on offshore exploration and development.
• Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, INTERSECT, PETREL RE).
• Solid understanding of petrophysics, geology, and production operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
• Experience with uncertainty and risk analysis is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with economic evaluation of reservoir development projects.
