Job summary

Lodge Management Company in White River seeks an experienced Senior Reservationist to join the central reservations office. The role combines reservations expertise, sales ability and team leadership to drive efficient booking flow.

You will oversee daily activity, handle direct, travel-agent and DMC enquiries from quotation to booking, maintain rates and guest data, and generate reports on bookings and performance while coordinating handovers with lodge teams.

Qualifications

• Senior reservations experience, preferably within luxury safari lodges or central reservations environments.
• Strong reservations-system skills, commercial awareness, excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Comfortable supervising daily reservations activity and converting enquiries into bookings while maintaining accurate financial and operational records.
• Willing to participate in standby rotation and relocation plans.

This is a hands‑on role reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager.

The successful candidate will help establish an efficient central reservations function; oversee daily booking activity and support the Reservations & Sales Consultant.

Duties:

Requirements:

• Grade 12 A formal qualification Proven senior reservations experience, preferably within luxury safari lodges, a lodge collection or a central reservations environment.
• Demonstrate strong reservations-system skills, commercial awareness, excellent written communication and careful attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently, supervising daily reservations activity and converting enquiries into bookings while maintaining accurate financial and operational records.
• Able to participate in standby rotation Candidates relocating should have a clear relocation plan and realistic availability.
