Job Description: Senior Research Manager (SRM) - NIQ

The SRM is part of NIQ's Strategic Analytics and Insights (SA&I) team, responsible for the SSA region. The role involves acting as a trusted adviser to our Brand and Media clients, aligning SA&I solutions with their key business questions. Candidates are accountable for earned revenue and driving growth through retained business.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage Brand and Media accounts as the main point of contact and trusted advisor.
  2. Conduct business reviews and develop strategic account plans.
  3. Understand client strategies and key questions to build strong relationships.
  4. Nurture and expand relationships to achieve retained business.
  5. Promote and demonstrate the value of the SA&I portfolio.
  6. Manage revenue targets for your accounts.
  7. Collaborate with Business Development teams to identify upselling opportunities.
  8. Coordinate with other NIQ teams for a holistic client experience.
  9. Oversee full project cycles, ensuring excellence and high client satisfaction.
  10. Stay updated on market research methodologies, industry trends, and competitors.
  11. Lead and develop a team of researchers to meet client needs.
  12. Contribute positively to the culture of the SA&I team and NIQ organization.

Requirements

  1. 6-7 years of experience in market research and account management.
  2. Deep knowledge of market research methods.
  3. Strong client-oriented approach.
  4. Ability to build long-term client relationships.
  5. Excellent listening and strategic thinking skills.
  6. Proficient in design and reporting.
  7. Willingness to go the extra mile and show enthusiasm for learning.
  8. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  9. Experience working across teams and managing multiple priorities.
  10. Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
