ABOUT JOHANNESBURG: Our Johannesburg office based in Melrose Arch serves as the company's Functional Hub for the Southern African Operations which include Global Services, Technology, and Enterprise Resource Planning Support Teams.

ABOUT THE ROLE: This role is a permanent full-time position. As a Supervisor Contract Administration, you will be responsible for providing guidance and oversight to ensure effective contract management processes and compliance with policies and procedures of the Supply Services function within GBS for South32. Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

  1. Producing the Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for the team;
  2. Managing the teams Leave / Roster for all direct reports;
  3. Monitoring the teams Versa case to ensure that they do not fall out of SLA;
  4. Monitoring the teams Versa e-mail to ensure that they are actioned in a timely manner;
  5. Management of cases through the SAP – ARIBA interface and ensuring of quality outcomes;
  6. Updating of the teams SPOT charts;
  7. Ensuring that all key Daily, weekly, and monthly meetings are attended;
  8. Performing monthly check-ins with all direct reports;
  9. Ensuring proper investigations are performed for errors made by the team by performing 3Q's and / or Non-compliance reporting and / or a root cause analysis report;
  10. Perform Daily resource management.

ABOUT YOU: You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Supply or a Shared Services Environment, of which at least 2 years in a supervisory position knowledge of the contract administration process;
  • Experience within high volume transactional and professional shared services activities, preferably SAP based;
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation;
  • Detail-oriented professional with a proven track record of handling large volumes efficiently.

Qualifications for this role are:

  • Degree / BTECH / National Diploma (3 years) in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a similar discipline.
