Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Energy Efficiency Consultant to join their team in a fully remote capacity. You will assess energy usage across client facilities, identify opportunities for efficiency, and develop strategies to reduce energy consumption and costs.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, and energy modeling tools, plus excellent communication. CEM certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years in energy efficiency consulting or building performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of building systems, HVAC, lighting, and processes impacting energy use.
• Proficiency with energy modeling software and data analysis tools; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct energy audits/assessments for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
• Analyze energy usage data and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Develop tailored energy management plans and recommend technologies and changes.
• Prepare detailed reports with findings, recommendations and projected savings.
• Assist clients in implementing energy efficiency projects and monitor progress.
• Stay current with latest energy efficiency tech, best practices and regulations.
