Placements24 is seeking an experienced Virtual Childcare Consultant to advise families remotely on childcare, development, and home learning. You will conduct remote consultations, tailor strategies for diverse families, and provide practical resources through digital channels.

This contractor role offers flexibility, project-based or hourly pay, and the opportunity to support families nationwide from KwaZulu-Natal, leveraging your advanced training in child development and education.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or significant professional certification in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in childcare, parenting support, or early education.
• Proven ability to provide effective advice and support in a virtual setting.
• Exceptional communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using video conferencing and online collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of diverse family structures and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations with parents to assess their childcare needs and challenges.
• Develop personalized action plans and strategies for child development, learning, and well-being.
• Provide expert advice on age-appropriate activities, parenting techniques, and home learning environments.
• Curate and share relevant resources, articles, and tools to support families.
