Job description

  • Take responsibility for completing daily reconciliations across multiple banking partners.
  • Work on identifying and investigating reconciliation breaks.
  • You will partner closely with colleagues across the Operations team and other departments to ensure breaks are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support ongoing root cause analysis of breaks and where needed support the development or permanent solutions to prevent repeat issues.
  • Contribute to improving reconciliation processes through the creation of allocation and matching rules.
  • You'll be working to drive efficiency in the reconciliation team through building, testing, and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Assist operations in preparing reconciliation output for regulators and auditors.
  • Keep up to date with the regulations in the jurisdictions in which BCB operates, ensuring that reconciliation standards at BCB remain compliant.
  • Work closely with the Reconciliations Director as well as product and tech teams to deliver reconciliation solutions for new products and service offerings.

If you can demonstrate some of the following experience/skills below, we would love to have a conversation:

  • Solid background in operations with direct experience in managing reconciliations.
  • Comfortable working with reconciliation systems such as SmartStream, AutoRek, or similar.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously and effectively.
  • Experience in driving improvements to processes would be a strong advantage.
  • Ideally hold a degree-level qualification.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Experience with basic SQL queries would be advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and software, bringing a solution-oriented mindset to work.
  • While not essential, previous experience with asset/securities reconciliations would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience on project-based work/system integrations would be advantageous.
