Job summary

Zepz is hiring a Senior Reconciliation Analyst in Cape Town to coordinate daily, month and year-end reconciliations within FinOps. You will investigate items with internal and external parties, streamline processes, and support senior management with robust analyses.

In this hybrid role, you will lead high‑risk accounts, mentor junior staff, and work with AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency while maintaining strict controls and timely substantiation.

Qualifications

• Finance-based degree required.
• 3–5 years experience in reconciliations, audit/accounts preparation, or shared service center.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns complex reconciliations and high‑risk accounts as SME.
• Diagnoses breaks, identifies trends, and improves reconciliation quality.
• Provides training and guidance; supports audits with documentation.
• Performs deep-dive analysis to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Manages stakeholders and explains break drivers with high-quality analysis.
