Position Overview:

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Senior Receptionist for a prestigious private game reserve in Limpopo. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong administrative skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service in a luxury bush environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage guest check-ins and check-outs professionally and efficiently
  2. Operate and maintain the Opera reservation system (Opera experience is essential)
  3. Handle guest inquiries in person, via email, and phone courteously and promptly
  4. Coordinate guest arrivals and departures according to lodge standards
  5. Ensure accurate billing, payment processing, and daily cash-ups
  6. Support lodge management with administrative tasks as required
  7. Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area
  8. Liaise with lodge departments to ensure smooth guest experiences
  9. Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address concerns
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a front-of-house or receptionist role
  • Proficiency in Opera reservation system (non-negotiable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team
  • Well-groomed, professional, and guest-focused
  • Willingness to live and work in a remote bush environment
