Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of commercial and residential real estate law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, including purchase agreements, leases, financing documents, and development agreements.

• Conduct legal due diligence for property acquisitions and financing.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with a minimum of 8 years of post-admission experience.
• Specialization and extensive experience in commercial real estate law.
• Proven experience managing complex transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, large commercial leases, and development projects.
• Exceptional legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• In-depth knowledge of South African property law, contract law, and relevant legislation.
