Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Real Estate Appraiser to join our team in Sandton, Gauteng. You will provide expert property value opinions for mortgage lending, investment analysis, and legal disputes, and mentor junior appraisers.

You will conduct complex valuations, stay current on local market trends, and ensure accuracy and professionalism in all reports while contributing to critical financial decisions.

Qualifications

• Certified Appraiser designation (SAIV, PR.CH.VAL) with 7+ years of appraisal experience.
• Extensive knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial valuations.
• Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth appraisals of diverse property types using advanced methodologies.
• Analyze market data and local conditions to determine fair market value.
• Prepare detailed, defensible appraisal reports for clients and regulators.
• Provide expert testimony in legal cases when required.
• Mentor and review work of junior appraisers for quality.
