Job summary

Humankind is seeking a Senior React Native Mobile Developer for a 6-month onsite contract in Sandton. You will deliver production-grade React Native apps end-to-end, from development to deployment, across iOS and Android.

The role emphasizes hands-on React Native with Expo, RTK, TypeScript, testing and CI/CD, including signing, App Store Connect and Google Play deployment in a fast-paced financial services tech environment.

Qualifications

Experience delivering production React Native mobile apps end-to-end.
Solid knowledge of iOS and Android app deployment processes (App Store / Play Store).
Hands-on testing and mobile delivery, including signing and certificates.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance and maintain production React Native mobile applications.
Build scalable, reliable and high-performing mobile features using React Native, TypeScript and Redux Toolkit.
Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.
Manage application state, performance and the Redux lifecycle.
Develop and maintain automated unit, integration and end-to-end testing.
Support mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated builds and release processes.
Manage application signing, certificates and production releases.
Deploy and manage applications through App Store Connect, TestFlight and Google Play Console.
Work closely with engineering, product and technical teams within an Agile delivery environment.
Troubleshoot mobile-specific issues across iOS and Android platforms.
