Location: North of England (offices in Warrington, the Lake District, and the North East)

Salary: Around £75,000 + £5,775 Flex Allowance + Company Car + Bonus (up to 10%) + Benefits

The Company

My client is a well-established consultancy with over 25 years of experience delivering specialist quantity surveying and project control services across the nuclear, renewables, utilities, process, and infrastructure sectors.

The Role

They are looking for an MRICS-accredited Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. You will work across major projects in the North of England, with the flexibility to be based out of Warrington, the Lake District, or the North East offices.

This is a senior role where you’ll take ownership of key projects, lead on NEC4 contract management, and provide trusted commercial expertise to high-profile clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading on all aspects of cost management, procurement, and contract administration for NEC4 projects.
  • Providing high-quality commercial advice and support to clients across renewables, nuclear, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Managing budgets, forecasts, and risk, ensuring projects remain on track financially and contractually.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required.
  • Working flexibly across offices and client sites in the North of England.

About You

  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Engineering (HNC/HND considered).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car for business travel.
  • Client-focused, commercially astute, and skilled in fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Professional membership (or working towards) with RICS, CIPS, or ICE .
  • Strong understanding of NEC4 contracts and contract strategies, or similar forms.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work collaboratively on-site with project teams to deliver success.
