Job summary

Takora Pty Ltd in Gauteng seeks an experienced Contractor Quantity Surveyor with a Bachelor of Science or Technology degree in Quantity Surveying and 8+ years in a contractor role within construction. You will manage project costs, budgets and subcontractor processes, and prepare cost reports and variation orders.

Proficiency in CCS Candy or similar cost-management software is required, with strong knowledge of measurement, cost control and contract administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Contractor Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Experience with large industrial property construction or similar environment.
• Experience managing project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
• Experience managing subcontractor certification, valuations, payment processes and commercial administration.
• Experience preparing variation orders, cost reports and detailed project costing reports.
• Strong knowledge of construction measurement, cost control and contract administration.
• Proficiency in CCS Candy or similar construction cost management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, budgets and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee subcontractor certification, valuations, payment processes and commercial administration.
• Prepare variation orders, cost reports and detailed project costing reports.
