Qualifications/certifications required:
• Tertiary Degree
• Professional registration: ASAQS/MBA and South African Council for the Quantity Surveying profession
• Minimum of 10 years technical experience, of which at least 2 years need to be in a senior role
• Willing to travel to sites
• Ability to cope with heavy workload and long hours
IT skills:
• Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Navigating on virtual meeting platforms
Systems and software skills:
• BuildSmart (basic)
• Candy/CSS programming (advanced)

Manage the commercial profitability of projects and alignment to the financial life cycle of the business:
• Interpretation of drawings and detection of variations
• Effectively execute the project certification life cycle and final account
• Execute and monitor all cost control principles such as site storage control, updated asset registers, plant and equipment reconciliations and
• Execute the relevant project contractual claims and submit with sufficient evidence
• Execute accurate cost reports to report on the alignment between budgets and allowable
• Ensure compliance with construction, HSE, labour and environmental legislations
• Seamless collaboration with production team to identify profitable synergies and management of the financial integrity of the projects
• Implement and manage a document and project management control system
• Provide a best practice service and built sustainable relationships with key parties
