Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential development and be proficient in CCS Candy. You will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing valuations, and ensuring the financial efficiency of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
• Conduct measurements and take-offs from drawings.
• Prepare and submit monthly valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, including contract administration and cost control.
• Make sure Subcontractors are BIBC compliant.
• Prepare and evaluate variations and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project expenses.
• Assist with the preparation of cash flow forecasts and financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/Similar in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, specifically within residential developments.
• Proficiency in CCS Candy and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Dimension X experience.
• Experience in Xero Accounting Software and Smartsheet’s will be advantageous
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a team of QS's and allocate tasks accordingly.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
