Durban. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with 10 years in the construction industry . A Bachelors Degree and own transport are essential.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates

Oversee procurement tenders and payment applications

Lead tendering processes and quantity takeoffs

Mentor junior QS staff and uphold best practices

Requirements :

Degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or related field

10 years quantity surveying experience in the construction industry

Proven track record in managing largescale construction projects from inception to completion

Proficient in CCS Candy BuildSmart and MS Excel

Proficient in GCC 2015 NEC3 and JBCC

Strong commercial negotiation and communication skills

Membership with a recognised professional body (RICS / ASAQS) advantageous

Willingness to travel and must have own vehicle
