Non-destructive examination competency and experience
Understanding and experience of ISO3834 (Quality Requirements for fusion Welding of metallic materials) and ISO 9001.
Understanding and experience of Compliance with AWS, ASME, API, ISO Standards
Minimum/Desired Experience:Minimum of 7+ years’ experience as a Site Quality Coordinator on mining construction project construction.
Proven track record in multi discipline construction and handover within Projects. (Require References)
Personnel shall have the specified minimum onsite project experience and shall be knowledgeable of the applicable Engineering codes, standards, specifications, and drawings.
Experience with Mining construction and handover knowledge including interfacing with other disciplines/discipline supervisors, i.e., Civil/Structural, Mechanical/Piping/Electrical/Instrumentation
Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and isometric diagrams, Civil structural drawings
Proficiency in review of construction work packs, site quality control and verification as well as close out pack/data book completion.
Decision MakingPlans and conducts and may supervise work of self and others. Has ability to lead project teams. May participate in cross-functional collaboration.
Supervision ReceivedWorks with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance. Broad duties assigned at beginning of projects. Work is assigned in terms of objectives, relative priorities, and critical areas that impinge on work of other units. Work is reviewed to ensure policy conformity and soundness of approach. Informed guidance is available.
Supervision AuthorityAble to lead functional project teams. May have direct reports. Will typically assign activities and regularly give job-related guidance to department staff as a senior advisor.
CommunicationStrong ability to Inform and persuade on complex matters through preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations and reports, as well as collaboration with stakeholders and management.
Systems, Processes & ToolsStrong understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. Understanding of ISO 9001 standard requirements.
