Job summary

MAHLE in Durban, South Africa, seeks a Senior Quality Inspector to uphold quality standards on the shop floor. You will manage equipment calibration, perform inspections, and verify conformity to drawings and procedures.

The role requires at least five years in quality with OEM exposure, strong Excel and SAP skills, and the ability to read drawings. You will contribute to PDCA activities and drive effective problem solving with production and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Matriculated with Maths.
• Computer literate with Excel and SAP knowledge.
• Knowledge of drawings.
• Working knowledge of measurement instruments.
• Minimum 5 years quality experience with OEM requirements.

• Ensure condition and calibration status of measuring equipment used is maintained. Understand the QMS procedures. Understand and use the MBMS System.
• Detection of non-conforming product being manufactured.
• Involvement in PDCA Activities
• Compliant to systems and procedures within the Quality Department.
• Perform inspection and verification in accordance with procedures and drawings.
• Maintain Inspection records.
• Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
