We are looking for a dynamic Senior Quality Engineer to lead with precision, solve with purpose, and drive quality excellence.

The key job outputs of the function include, but are not limited to:
- Drive customer satisfaction through effective problem description identification and applying a logical approach to problem solving by utilizing robust problem-solving techniques.
- Stimulate 8D action plan closure and measure effectiveness of countermeasures implemented.
- Establish good relationships across the entire customer base through effective communication and responsiveness to concerns raised.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements.
- Prepare, measure, and drive IPPM reduction with focus on reworks, FTT, scrap reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Manage the QMS CAPA (Corrective Action, Preventative Action) process through the PDCA cycle.
- Identify gaps in QMS by maintaining an audit schedule focused on shopfloor-related activities.
- Participate in launch team activities, highlighting possible process non-conformances based on risk assessments, FMEAs, SOPs, and CSRs.
- Manage and conduct internal audits.
- Promote operational quality awareness, training, and improvement actions based on LPA processes.
- Facilitate daily KPI reporting to the Plant Manager and Operations team.
- Consolidate and report KPIs for monthly BOS preparation.
- Monitor and track customer scorecards.
- Analyze and implement corrective/preventative actions to improve all KPIs.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Engineering or Qualified Toolmaker NTC 6.
- Diploma in Quality (advantageous) or advanced knowledge of quality systems.
- Intermediate to advanced MS-Office skills.
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, PDCA, Ishikawa, 5 WHY.
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, parts, and assemblies.
- 5+ years of experience in quality within an automotive environment, preferably in a press shop setting.
- Knowledge of IATF16949, VDA6.3, IQSB, Ford Q1 standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working under pressure.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to manage cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with customers.
- Excellent time management and report writing skills.
