Placements24 is seeking a Senior Quality Control Engineer for a leading food & beverage manufacturer in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will develop and oversee quality control systems, perform audits, analyze data for trends, and drive continuous improvement to ensure product safety and consistency.

The role requires leadership of a QC team, collaboration with production and R&D, and adherence to HACCP, GMP, and ISO 9001 standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 6+ years in quality control/quality assurance with 3+ years in senior/supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, SPC, and QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust QC systems aligning with ISO 9001 and HACCP.
• Oversee QC from raw materials to finished product release.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with QC measures.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and implement CAPAs for deviations.
• Lead and mentor QC team with training on standards.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and procurement to resolve issues.
