About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001.
• Oversee all quality assurance activities, including process validation, product testing, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality deviations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and production teams to ensure quality is integrated into product design and manufacturing processes.

• Monitor and analyze key quality metrics, generating reports for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with a significant portion in a senior engineering role.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing ISO 9001 or similar QMS.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Experience with auditing standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote tasks with on-site responsibilities.
• Experience within the manufacturing sector, preferably in or near Sandton, Gauteng.
