Job Description

Responsibilities:

This is a manual testing role. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new techniques to meet quality goals on assigned projects.
  • Participate in requirements walkthroughs and product design sessions, providing input on potential issues and developing comprehensive test plans.
  • Create and execute manual test scripts using Test Management tools (e.g., X-Ray), perform test execution, and manage defects.
  • Contribute to QA process improvements by reviewing and refining existing testing processes, controls, and best practices.
  • Prepare and present realistic time estimates for testing activities, provide regular status updates, and attend project meetings and demos.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify automation candidates and understand automation coverage.
  • Mentor junior team members, guiding them in QA best practices and fostering a culture of quality.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and requests while maintaining attention to detail and strong time management.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of testing experience
  • Proficiency in BDD and Gherkin syntax; knowledge of TDD is a plus
  • Experience with API testing and tools like Selenium, Charles Proxy, Git, JMeter
  • Basic programming skills and ability to write detailed test cases
  • ISTQB or similar certifications preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to build QA dashboards and metrics
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
