This role delivers culturally safe, clinical and professional assessments and interventions, using a Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) framework.
Working with forensic clients to provide holistic, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care, with a strong focus on mental health, and alcohol and other drugs – particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. You will play an integral part of a multidisciplinary health team providing clinical services at Alice Springs Correctional Centre (ASCC) and a nearby low-security prison reintegration centre. Being the Senior Psychologist, you will provide expert advice to the multidisciplinary team on program and clinical issues.
