Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field with a strong focus on proteomics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in bioinformatics, with significant proteomics data analysis.
• Proven expertise with proteomics tools such as MaxQuant, Proteome Discoverer, Skyline; proficiency in R and Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced bioinformatics pipelines for high-throughput proteomics data.
• Analyze complex proteomic datasets to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
• Collaborate with experimental proteomists and biologists to integrate multi-omics data.
• Develop and maintain databases and computational tools for data management and visualization.
• Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization to extract insights.
• Communicate findings through reports and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with proteomics and computational biology advancements.
• Mentor junior bioinformatics staff and contribute to team strategy.
