Responsibilities include drafting agreements, conducting due diligence, advising on zoning and land use, and ensuring regulatory compliance while coordinating with agents and lenders.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court with 5+ years in property law.
• Proven experience managing a high-volume conveyancing workload.
• In-depth knowledge of South African property acts and conveyancing procedures.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and client communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong deadline management.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight timelines.
• Proficient with conveyancing software and legal databases.

Responsibilities

• Manage conveyancing process for property transfers, bond registrations, and cancellations.
• Draft and review sale agreements, offers to purchase, and lease agreements.
• Conduct property due diligence, including title searches and land registry checks.
• Advise clients on property law matters including zoning and land use.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with estate agents, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Handle sectional title scheme registrations and management queries.
• Maintain accurate client records and case files.
