About the Role

Are you an exceptional communicator with a talent for preparing, coordinating, and reviewing briefs, correspondence, and other Parliamentary and Executive documents? This is a temporary full-time opportunity up to July (Parental Leave Cover).

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate briefings and correspondence, acting as a liaison for the Executive, including the Deputy Secretary, to ensure effective communication between the Minister's Office and the Department.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and review documentation such as Ministerial correspondence, Parliamentary responses, briefing notes, and sensitive documents, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper representation of NSW policy.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with senior management and stakeholders across the NSW Government.

  • Knowledge of NSW parliamentary processes, machinery of government, and the roles of Ministers and agencies.
