Senior Project Manager

Our client, in the plant equipment manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for their branch in Honeydew.

Responsibilities
  1. Supervise final negotiations for assigned projects and develop execution strategies.
  2. Ensure project schedule baseline is signed by involved parties at project initiation.
  3. Lead and manage the project team to meet and improve on cost, schedule, quality, and EHS targets.
  4. Perform risk and opportunity management.
  5. Manage deviations effectively within the project.
  6. Assess, approve, and expedite technical change orders; develop claim strategies with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
  7. Prepare and conduct project reviews; report according to company standards.
  8. Conduct site briefing meetings; ensure relevant documents are handed over to site personnel.
  9. Coordinate with the Project Management Office to maintain quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
  10. Develop relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth operations and dispute resolution.
  11. Capture lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement.
  12. Organize and lead debriefing meetings.
  13. Supervise, support, and coach project team members; contribute to performance reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
  • PMI Certification is advantageous; candidates must meet criteria for certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of plant principles and experience with complex projects.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and coordinating skills in an international environment.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or equivalent skills.
  • Basic commercial knowledge for assessing risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent team management, planning, and priority-setting skills.
