Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Bloemfontein to drive major financial services initiatives. You will oversee a portfolio of projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure strategic business objectives are met within a dynamic financial landscape.

The role requires deep knowledge of financial markets, regulatory requirements, and skilled stakeholder management. A PMP or equivalent certification is strongly preferred, with a competitive salary and comprehensive

Qualifications

9+ years of project management experience, with a substantial focus in Financial Services.
Proven track record leading complex initiatives such as system deployments, regulatory programs, or product launches.
Strong knowledge of financial products, markets and regulatory requirements (POPIA, FAIS).

Responsibilities

Manage full lifecycle of financial services projects from initiation to closure.
Develop detailed project plans including scope, budget, resources and risk strategies.
Lead cross-functional teams and align with project objectives.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
Communicate with stakeholders at all levels and provide progress updates.
