Job title: Senior Project Manager - DBN

Job Location: KwaZulu-Natal, Durban | Deadline: May 24, 2025

You Bring:

  • Relevant Project Management Certifications: PMP, Prince II, Scrum Master
  • At least 5 years of project management experience, specifically in software development projects
  • Experience with full product lifecycle and understanding of development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint; experience presenting to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills across multiple business and technology teams
  • Experience with tools like CA Clarity PPM, MS TFS/Azure DevOps, Dynatrace
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical audiences
  • High influence and stakeholder management skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Define Statements of Work and project specifications
  • Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to deployment for large or multiple initiatives
  • Coordinate multiple projects to support strategic objectives
  • Establish and improve project management practices, templates, and tools
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plans
  • Collaborate with team leads to procure resources and meet objectives
  • Ensure solutions align with client goals and industry best practices
  • Understand dependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
  • Manage project scope, changes, and stakeholder communications effectively
  • Report on project metrics, risks, issues, and success criteria
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and sponsors
  • Maintain executive-level communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Develop understanding of stakeholder landscape and organizational linkages
  • Foster positive relationships internally and externally to support company strategy
