Job summary

DeARX is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Agile/Scrum experience and a solid understanding of Finance and Accounting to deliver business and technology projects within a logistics environment.

The role involves planning, coordinating and delivering projects while collaborating with stakeholders, Finance/Accounting teams, Product Owners, Scrum teams and technical resources. You will manage budgets, governance and UAT to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager.
• Proven experience delivering projects within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience delivering projects involving Finance and Accounting processes.
• Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
• Experience working across business and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation and closure.
• Manage project delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Work closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Team to manage the Product Backlog, priorities, dependencies and delivery milestones.
• Facilitate and participate in key Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and delivery roadmaps.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions and changes.
• Monitor project progress against agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
• Manage project resources and coordinate activities across business and technical teams.
• Work with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure successful delivery of financial processes and solutions.
• Monitor project budgets, expenditure and financial performance.
• Prepare project status reports and provide regular updates to Steering Committees and senior stakeholders.
• Identify delivery risks and implement appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation and transition into business operations.
• Ensure project documentation, governance and reporting requirements are maintained.
• Drive the resolution of project issues and ensure timely escalation where required.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Relevant Project Management qualification.
• 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager.
• Proven experience delivering projects within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Practical experience working with Scrum Teams and Product Owners.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery principles and Scrum practices.
• Experience delivering projects involving Finance and Accounting processes.
• Good understanding of financial processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting and reconciliations.
• Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
• Experience working across business and IT stakeholders.
• Experience in the logistics, supply chain, transport or distribution industry will be advantageous.
