Job description

Key role responsibilities (not limited to):

  1. Review, analyse and document the current project plan and requirements.
  2. Define the needs and requirements of specific and identified project deliverables.
  3. Manage the various subprojects and the deliverables to ensure overall project success, conduct project meetings and reporting/review sessions.
  4. Document and manage the decision, risk, and issue logs and requirements.
  5. Document and analyse project deliverables and timelines.
  6. Manage project deliverables against the required timelines and outcomes.
  7. Work with the BankservAfrica PMO team and utilize the PMO process, templates, systems, and methodologies.
  8. Documenting and/or updating the project artefacts.
  9. Ensure all artefacts adhere/align to the BSA CI and the PMO templates for project reporting.
  10. Provide expert knowledge and framework for project and subproject management.
  11. Support the project team and management.
  12. Recommend project enhancements and reporting standards.
  13. Recommend performance and monitoring optimization as it relates to the project and deliverables.
  14. Update the PPO system every week to ensure accurate reporting.

  2. Good communicator and ability to work in a dynamic team and communicate with various groups.
  3. Negotiating skills between various stakeholders is essential.
  4. Ability to communicate technical language to varying levels of technical understanding.
  5. Stakeholder management experience.

Experience:

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience, a track record, and be able to demonstrate project management capabilities, knowledge, and know-how in Financial Services. This requirement must be considered part of the submission for this role.

Change management experience.

Experience in managing full-cycle projects.

Qualifications / Knowledge:

  1. Matric.
  2. PMP Certified (PMP in good standing).
  3. Required computer literacy levels in the MS Office suite and applicable Project Management Applications.
