Responsible for the delivery of all assigned DISA projects on time and within budget, aligned with specific DISA PMO project delivery methodologies, governance, and quality standards, as well as achieving DI and Client-specific objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and manage DISA projects and/or programmes throughout the Decision Inc. Project Lifecycle from initiation to signoff.
- Ensure the successful outcome of assigned projects/programmes, acting as the key driver to maintain engagement.
- Manage projects as if they were their own business, focusing on client satisfaction, achieving project objectives, targeted GP margin, and fostering a positive team environment.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure project success, navigating complexities and meeting DI objectives.
- Develop and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders (including PMO, BUs, Finance, IT, HR) to support project success.
- Communicate project status internally and with clients, including progress, scope, budget, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and change management.
- Adhere to best practice PMO methodologies and DISA-specific project rules, aligned with Decision Inc. standards and stakeholder needs.
- Manage multiple projects/programmes simultaneously within available capacity.
- Maintain DISA PMO governance practices, including project initiation, setup, execution, and closure, in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create and update detailed project plans using Microsoft Project and Projects on Line, including resource allocation, dependencies, and baselines.
- Develop and obtain signoff for the Project Charter.
- Coordinate project delivery within budget, scope, and quality parameters.
- Manage project documentation, including artefacts, change control, testing, training, and go-live activities.
- Lead project teams to deliver according to plans, escalating risks and issues promptly.
- Oversee project budgets, including costs, revenue, billing, and cash flow milestones.
- Prepare project collateral and facilitate meetings such as standups, status updates, project boards, and steering committees.
- Support DISA PMO initiatives to improve team knowledge, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Prior Experience, Technical Knowledge, and Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of Project Management experience in IT or Professional Services environment.
Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Microsoft Project Plan and Microsoft Projects on Line.
- Knowledge of additional project tools like Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, DevOps is beneficial.
- Financial acumen in planning and tracking project costs, revenue, and gross profit margin.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
