Our client is a renowned household brand, established in the s, with a global presence.
They successfully expanded into South Africa, opening their first restaurant in Cape Town.
Since then, they have grown significantly, establishing nearly locations nationwide.
They are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Johannesburg-based team.
Reporting to the Development Executive, you will be responsible for planning, facilitating, and coordinating construction projects and managing their execution.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Quantity Surveyor in developing project budgets, supporting the developer in appointing the professional team, handling council submissions, and providing regular progress updates and reports.
You will also lead regular site meetings, liaise with local authorities regarding certificates, and oversee tasks such as preparing costing reports, organizing snag inspections with contractors, establishing RFIs, and assisting in resolving contractual disputes.
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a degree in the built environment, with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
Proven experience in the quick-service restaurant industry is essential.
Candidates should also be proficient in construction management software, own a vehicle, and be registered with SACPCMP.
