Job Description: Project Manager in Property Sector

Assume overall responsibility for the successful delivery of high-quality projects across various sectors, with a focus on property. The role requires a commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability, aiming to exceed client expectations while maintaining efficiency.

The Project Manager will manage developments, projects, tenant fitouts, major repairs, and maintenance projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

1. Project Planning and Coordination: Lead planning, coordination, and execution of fitout repairs, maintenance, and construction projects, aligning with client objectives, budgets, and timelines. Prepare budgets and cash flows during the feasibility stage in collaboration with the Development Manager.
2. Quantity Surveying: Oversee all activities including cost estimation, control, tendering, and procurement to optimize financial performance.
3. Contract Management: Manage negotiations, administration, and compliance of contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and professional appointments. Identify and mitigate project risks.
4. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Provide regular updates and resolve issues promptly.
5. Quality Assurance: Implement inspection and control measures to ensure adherence to standards, regulations, and specifications.
6. Resource Allocation: Optimize resources including labor, materials, and equipment. Guide value engineering and influence design details to optimize time and value.
7. Financial Authority: Authorize disbursements necessary for project delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of proven experience in project management within the construction industry, focusing on quantity surveying.
• Professional certification preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and MS Office Suite.
