Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Senior Project Manager in South Africa to lead major EPC and EPCM projects across water, wastewater, industrial and infrastructure sectors. You will direct project execution from planning through commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, quality, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BEng Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in engineering, construction, EPC, or EPCM environments.
• Experience in water/wastewater, desalination, industrial utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial, contractual, and stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful execution of large-scale EPC and EPCM projects.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and risk.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Oversee procurement activities, subcontractor management, and vendor performance.
• Drive construction execution and commissioning through to handover.
• Manage project financial performance, forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Promote safety culture, accountability, and continuous improvement.
