Job description

A highly renowned Aerospace company is looking for an exceptional and passionate individual to join their dynamic Team as a Senior Production Technician

R600 000 PA | On Site | Somerset West | Perm

Roles and Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership :

Take a senior role in the assembly, testing, design, development, and verification of systems, subsystems, testers, and associated hardware / software.

• Ensure the proper implementation, functionality, and maintenance of prototyping and assembly facilities, including tooling, spares, and stock infrastructure.
• Process and Quality Management :

Maintain company processes in alignment with ISO 9001, AS9100, and other quality standards.

• Manage stores and stock to ensure proper organization and compliance with relevant standards.
• Perform incoming inspections of components, verifying quality, authenticity, and documentation in the ERP system.
• Quality Assurance :

Collaborate with the Quality Manager to perform quality inspections on electronic and mechanical components to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.

• Project Outputs :

Contribute to the generation of project deliverables, including design, testing, documentation, and verification artefacts.

• Additional Responsibilities :

Perform support roles and other tasks as required.

• Qualification : B-Tech Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• Experience : 4–5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Knowledge : Proficiency with electronic components, PCBs, and soldering.
