Placements24 is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor for our automotive components production line in Midrand. You will lead a skilled team, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and collaborate with engineers to meet targets in a fast-paced plant.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production supervision, strong lean manufacturing knowledge, and proficiency with manufacturing software and MS Office. A Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production supervision or management role, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in overseeing manufacturing processes and production lines.
• Strong understanding of quality control systems and safety protocols (e.g., ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
• Proficiency in relevant manufacturing software and MS Office Suite.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
• Experience with lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
