Responsibilities
- Strategy Development and Implementation: Provide input to sales targets to meet business needs. Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation through development, market launch, and demand generation. Identify and assess new opportunities, enhance existing solutions, and ensure successful go-to-market strategies to meet the Business Line's financial and strategic objectives. Lead the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new products and solutions, ensuring effective market positioning. Serve as an internal subject matter expert on market trends, driving innovative product strategies.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, ensuring each phase drives value and aligns with business objectives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) for seamless product launches. Identify new market opportunities, including untapped customer segments, emerging technologies, and trends. Collaborate with innovation teams to enhance existing products. Monitor product performance using KPIs and provide updates to senior leadership, adjusting strategies as needed. Prioritize customer experience and leverage data analytics to improve retention and satisfaction.
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Ensure adherence to SLAs. Lead the development and execution of GTM strategies that facilitate timely product launches. Orchestrate service providers and develop SLAs between vendors and local teams for large, priority, and pilot deals aligned with customer SLAs.
- People Leadership / Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers. Provide coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations. Offer technical, procedural, and policy guidance to staff, colleagues, partners, and vendors.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-year degree equivalent / 4-year tertiary qualification (Technical / Commercial) or related MBA / Masters advantageous.
- At least 7 years of related experience in product management, product development, and GTM strategy within the telecommunications / tech industry, specifically in IT Security.
- Proven success in leading product teams and driving innovation.
- Experience with GTM & P&L management.
- Product Management certification advantageous (e.g., AIPMM).
- Experience managing the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
- Strong background in market analysis, product positioning, and competitive strategy.
- Experience in demand management and sales forecasting in a tech environment.
