Job summary

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Representative to join their procurement team in Gauteng. This role focuses on managing indirect procurement, developing supplier relationships, executing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and driving cost-saving initiatives to ensure secure supply.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing.
• Experience procuring raw materials.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and procurement systems experience.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure indirect materials and services.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships while negotiating favourable commercial agreements.
• Execute sourcing strategies and cost-saving initiatives across assigned procurement categories.
• Manage supplier performance, service levels, and quality issues.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of procured materials.
• Monitor supplier contracts, maintain contract compliance, and manage contract renewals.
• Identify and approve alternative suppliers, materials, and sourcing opportunities.
• Analyse procurement data, monitor spend, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support procurement risk management and ensure continuity of supply.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate procurement reporting, savings tracking, and contract documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes and supplier performance
